About Me

Hi! I’m Faye, an experienced newborn and family photographer based in Dorridge, Solihull.

Photography has been a life-long passion of mine - even as a child I would often be seen with camera in hand, snapping away at anything that caught my eye. Now, with a more grown-up camera, that passion has become my career and I’m so excited and happy to be doing it!

​

The word ‘natural’ sums up so much of my approach to photography. From the completely natural style of each photo, to the relaxed settings of the photoshoot and then to my use of natural daylight for lighting. I want to leave you with images which embody the natural love, fun and personalities of you and your loved ones at that moment in time. 

​

As a mum to three young boys, I know how important it is to capture memories of your children as they grow up. Time while they’re little goes by so fast and every moment is precious. 

​

One of my biggest regrets is not having a special camera to capture memories of my own children when they were newborns – which is why I want to help you to record some of the most wonderful and precious moments any new parent goes through. I fell in love with photographing babies after a friend of mine asked me to take a few photos of her newborn daughter, and it’s wonderful to see the pleasure my photos still bring to her.

I’m a country girl at heart and, as a family, we love spending time in the countryside, going for walks and adventures, and some of our happiest memories have been made outdoors. It’s these natural settings – when children get to be children and feel relaxed – that I like to use in my family photoshoots.
